Holger Ippach
Senior Vice President Sales Northern & Central Europe

Holger Ippach

Holger Ippach is responsible for Nagravision sales in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. With more than ten years experience in the area of Digital Television and IPTV, he joined Nagravision in 2005 as Vice President, IPTV Business Development.

A true veteran in the world of delivering video over IP networks, Holger Ippach started his career as a technical project manager and later became technical director at a German supplier of set-top boxes and solutions for telecommunication operators. In 2000, he co-founded TUXIA, a start-up company offering software integration services for IP-enabled set-top boxes and terminals. From there, he moved on to Thirdspace Living, an IPTV system integrator to head-up the Open Video Server (OVS) business unit. He played an active role in the merger of Thirdspace and ImagicTV to create Alcatel's Fixed Solution Division and became part of Alcatel's ICE Business Unit global management team.

A native of Germany, Holger Ippach holds a Masters Degree in Applied Physics and Business Administration from the University of Augsburg, Germany.

Thierry Legrand
Vice President of Sales for the SMEA Region

Thierry Legrand

Thierry Legrand joined Nagravision and currently heads the sales and services activities for Nagravision's South-Europe, Mid-Europe, and Africa Regions; he is responsible the company’s offices in Paris, Milan and Madrid.

Thierry Legrand spent the first fifteen years of his career in the defense industry at Thales, first as a Program Manager and then as a Regional Sales Manager for naval combat systems and systems integration services.

In 2000, Thierry Legrand moved into the Digital Television sector, bringing his experience of complex negotiation and partner management to Canal+ Technologies as Deputy Sales Director in charge of Customer Account Management, and then as Sales Director. He joined the Nagravision team when the Conditional Access activity of Canal+ Technologies was acquired by the Kudelski Group.

AMERICAS

Tom Wirth
Vice President and General Manager Americas

Tom Wirth

Tom Wirth is responsible for Nagravision’s sales and services operations for the Americas. Prior to this position, Mr. Wirth ran Nagravision’s North and Latin America sales organization. Previously, he was General Manager of Lysis iDTV’s US operations and head of the Swiss company’s worldwide sales and marketing group. Now a subsidiary of Nagravision, Lysis iDTV provides PPV, VOD, electronic program guides, and content rights management back-office solutions.

Prior to joining Nagravision, Tom Wirth ran Scientific Atlanta’s worldwide group in charge of selling digital encoding equipment and digital satellite receivers to cable operators, satellite operators and cable programmers. He held numerous other key roles at Scientific Atlanta including: business development for DTH networks, management of sales for media accounts; systems engineering, and product management for voice and data satellite networks.

Tom Wirth has a total of over twenty years experience in the telecommunications industry including positions at GTE Spacenet and Comsearch.

Tom Wirth has an MBA from Virginia Tech University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.

Michael J. Tucker

Michael J. Tucker

Mike Tucker joined Nagravision Great Britain (GB) in 2006 as General Manager and in 2008 he was appointed as General Manager of Nagravision's Asia Pacific operations. Before Nagravision, Mike Tucker was Chief Operating Officer of Fusion Digital Technology, a UK-based set-top box manufacturer.

Mike Tucker has spent his entire career in the consumer electronics/Pay TV industry having initially joined Thorn EMI Ferguson. There he held positions in product management, technical service procurement, and sales. He held senior management roles at Pace Micro Technology and British Sky Broadcasting followed by overseas assignments in the United States and Italy.
