Business Office

Our Buiness Office team provides a single entry point into the Certification process for licensed set-top box manufacturers. These manufacturers can send their requests for device certification to ISProjectOffice@nagra.com. Non licensed device manufacturers can contact francois.aubaniac@nagra.com in order to become a Nagravision licensee.

Certification Testing

The certification testing of the process is done by our world-wide integration centers. Two types of tests are performed:

• The first set includes testing the security of bootloaders, operating systems, factory processes and hardware designs
• The second set of tests covers testing the conditional access subsystem

Certification testing is finished once the integration center has verified the manufacturer has fulfilled all security and functional requirements for the specific set-top box model.

Project Management

Nagravision will assign a project manager to each certification project that is in chare of planning the certification and effectively keeping it on track. The assigned project manager will guide and support the device manufacturer throughout the process.

Test Materials, Support and Deployment Services

Nagravision has test materials and tools in a vast assortment of video formats, system integration standards and front-end configurations that a licensed device manufacturer can use to simplify and compress their integration development, testing and integration of set-top boxes.

Test results

At the end of the certification project, Nagravision will issue a certificate and test campaign report indicating the configuration of the accepted set-top box model allowed for manufacturing and deployment on a specific Operator’s network.
