A full Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Our objective is to ensure that the customer or prospect staff has the right skill set(s) aligned to their business objectives.
Nagravision's goal is to ensure that an operator's staff has the right skill sets to accomplish the operator's objectives.
Nagravision offers a service to analyse an operator's business objectives versus the skills of the operator's staff which are required to meet those objectives. Evaluating the potential trainees existing skills versus a required skill set produces a gap analysis that will form the basis of a training proposal. Each training proposal will outline the target groups, courses and levels, any specific client input, proposed dates, and logistics, thus enabling the client to come to an informed decision on their training plan.
A typical sequence of events would include:
- Analysis of a client's business objectives and the skills required to meet those objectives,
- Determine which staff the client wishes to train,
- Evaluate existing skills versus the required skills of the staff to meet business objectives,
- Produce a gap analysis of existing versus required skills,
- Identify the staff to be trained (including possible new hires),
- Gather any other relevant information, such as the location for delivery, any time critical issues, etc.,
- Produce a detailed training plan with curriculum, timelines, and logistics etc.,
- Present the plan to the client and gain signature approval,
- Run the program to the plan,
- Gather feedback on a continuous basis and refine material as appropriate,
- Report back to the client at agreed intervals, and
- Conclude the program or phase with client wrap up meeting.
Definition, Development and Delivery of Bespoke Courses
From the TNA output, Nagravision team members can identify and agree with the client which gap areas need to be addressed. In a number of cases, these gaps will be covered by existing standard courses and in other cases, it will necessitate the design, development and subsequent delivery of customised courses and programs. The process includes the following steps:.
- Technical training evaluation,
- Discuss and review requirements with client,
- Produce subsequent plan, review document and gain approval,
- Produce a detailed curriculum,
- Develop course program material as needed,
- Deliver the plan as agreed with ongoing review, and
- Gain feedback and provide a review upon completion.
Complete menu of standard
off-the-shelf courses
Nagravision may suggest a suite of standard courses to its clients. This may be a quick fix in as much as perhaps only one person needs to be trained on a single topic or a group needs to attend a specific course. These courses could be either ‘open’ or reserved for a specific client. If the group is sufficient in size (4+) then Nagravision could also run the course on the client site. In quite a few cases, it will be possible to select an appropriate curriculum from this list.
